The Concept
Viper Mini focuses on ultra-lightweight gaming with a smaller form than the rest of the Viper Series.
It is redesigned to ensure its performance remains just as big.
We reveal it through a series of Ironman-inspired transformation and accentuate the reduction of size & weight, retaining its durability at the same time.

In the pre-production phase, I worked together with the Creative Director to narrate his vision into a mood reel.
The objective of the mood reel is to portray the mood that we are going to deliver, along with the pacing of the whole commercial.
The Motion Design
The overarching design of the text animation derives from the conceptual idea of transformation.
Playing with the motif of the Viper, the text are thoughtfully sliced & assembled.

A client’s collaborative suggestion to further emphasize on the size differences between a usual Viper mouse and the new Viper Mini brought us to explore the possibility of hologram and 2D UI.
